Update: Moved to a new place and asked for a flood insurance quote. I was told flood insurance was included in my renters policy. I live in Houston on the bayou, so with hurricanes this was important. Due to repeated lack of responses from Cody and his team, I decided to look for a new carrier. During that process I asked for flood insurance and carriers asked for my current policy to review. They told me no such flood policy existed in my renters. I reached out to Cody and they confirmed I didn’t have flood for the past year. This sent me into a frenzy trying to get coverage now. Had to file a complaint with the state insurance board about these practices. Got an apology but additional conversations were ignored. Avoid this business."
